Does it feel like Easter? No, and Yes!
We believe that coming together to glorify God through worship is an essential Christian practice. We also believe there are many faithful ways to do that, so we offer a variety of worship experiences to help you encounter the God who is with us in Jesus Christ.
A 70-minute service of contemporary praise music led by our praise band, centering prayer, and a look into God's Word for inspiration and application.
A 75-minute blended service of gospel songs, praise choruses, favorite hymns, choir anthems, centering prayer, and a look into God's Word for inspiration and application.
a 45-minute service of gospel songs (you pick 'em), interactive devotion & prayer, and Holy Communion. Before the service, many go to Tasty Home Cookin for breakfast.
a 45-minute time to offer the presence of prayer for anyone with any need
Offered Wednesdays at 9:00 am and Thursdays at 4:15 pm in Heritage Hall.
Everyone is welcome at all our worship services, including children, teens, and persons with disabilities. No previous church experience or membership is needed.
Come as you are! We care more about you than the way you dress. We're the closest Methodist congregation to beautiful Siesta Key so many folks dress casually.
No. We have a greeting time where everyone stands to welcome each other. We also have a clipboard in each row of seating for persons to sign in. Signing in will allow us to send you a welcome letter. You are not required to sign in.
There are no membership fees or entrance fees. We collect an offering during our 9:00 am and 10:30 am Sunday Sanctuary services. You are not obligated to give, and you will not be pressured to make a donation. There is a $5 fee for GlorYoga.
We offer Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month at both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am Sunday Sanctuary services plus every Wednesday at 8:00 am in the Sanctuary.
Holy Communion at Trinity, and in all United Methodist Churches, is "open" - you do not have to be a member, a United Methodist, or even a certain age to participate. We believe Holy Communion is a primary means of grace through which persons have a profound experience of God's Presence... many for the first time.
Our Pastor, Rev. Lisa Degrenia, gives the same message at both Sunday services. This is one of the many ways we strive to be one, unified community of faith rather than many congregations worshipping under the same roof. She also leads the Wednesday 8:00 am Communion Service. The message is more of a discussion at this service. The Wednesday 10:00 am listening with prayerful response gathering is led by various people. There is no message. GlorYoga is led by Jennifer Means.
We live stream and then archive the videos of our 9:00 am Contemporary Service on our church Facebook page.
MP3 recordings of Pastor Lisa's messages may be found in the sermon section of our website. Recordings of the entire service are available through the church office.
